Aaron Plumley - Executive Director
I know firsthand how powerful Teen Challenge is when it comes to changing lives. Following my own experiences with addiction, I went through Appalachian Teen Challenge. Jesus moved so profoundly in my life that I was called to participate in the ministry myself. After 4 years working at Appalachian Teen Challenge the opportunity to lead the team at Northern Appalachian Teen Challenge was extended to me. I have the privilege to serve in this ministry side-by-side with my wife Victoria. Together, with our family, we trust God to work through us to forever change lives through Jesus Christ.
After nearly 20 years living in the bondage of addiction, I finally found myself calling upon the Lord for help. I never expected to feel the presence of God in my life so strongly, let alone find Him calling me to help others who are as broken as I once was. Now I have the opportunity to give back to the students the love and hope that I personally experienced with my Lord.

Jesus Christ saved my life, Teen Challenge taught me how to live again. God not only restored my life but gave me the desires of my heart; my children and my husband who serves along side me. I am humbled and honored to be a part of the same ministry that was there to pull me from the trenches when I had given my life over to addiction. Teen Challenge said yes when everyone else said no, and now I get to be the one who says yes to hurting women like the former me. It is my privilege to love these women and show them that there is life after death.
I joined the team at Northern Appalachian Teen Challenge in November 2018. Currently, I am pursuing a degree in ministry at the Centerbranch School of Ministry. I am active in my church assisting with various outreach ministries, serving as a Connect Group Co-leader with my husband Joe, and interning as part of my ministry school practicum. I am passionate about faith, family, and writing. What spare time I have, I spend cooking and writing. Joe and I share 4 adult sons and 3 Great Danes together. I can barely contain my excitement of all the ministry opportunities that lie ahead of us here at NATC. The lives that will be changed and the part I get to play in that leaves me in absolute awe of God’s great grace and mercy.
